The theory test
The theory test is an important part of learning to drive. It is important not to rush this step as having gaps in your theory knowledge could have a negative impact in the practical driving lessons. This will also help your general confidence on the road if you are understanding everything that you see. You receive a free theory test app and your instructor will help and guide you to success!
The driving test
Once you have passed your theory test, you can book a practical driving test. Your instructor will advise you on when to book your test
After you've passed
You can start driving as soon as you pass your driving test. You must have a valid insurance policy which will cover you to drive without supervision. It’s important to remember to check your insurance policy if you have learner insurance, as passing your test could invalidate your insurance. After you’ve passed, there is additional training called the “pass plus course” where you can get a car insurance discount. More information can be found below
